We have been trying to come up with a better name for our litter, but nothing else really works… So, this is the “Speedy ‘Green’ Machines” litter, including fast electric cars like the Tesla Roadster, Vanda Dendrobium, and Genovation.
Puppies have been growing fast and learning faster! They have met over 30 people and they have plans to go to Piano Camp this coming week to meet kids and parents. They have had a number of car rides and don’t even seem phased by traveling any more. Their first experiences with the flirt pole and plastic bags were amazing, and happily all of the puppies are consistently and enthusiastically thrilled to chase plastic. Daddy Stetson recently won a competitive first placement in lure coursing, looking stellar against a great field of Silkens. With all of the puppies are showing his and Enya's love for plastic, we are hopeful for a litter of little racers and lure coursers.
Puppies attended their first two race meets last weekend, and although their feet never touched the ground, they got to play ‘pass the puppy’ quite a few times, see some fun races and lots of new dogs (from a distance at this age) and hear lots of exciting sounds from the safety of the RV.
Five weeks is of course awfully young to even try to get decent “stacks” of puppies, but I like to play with them and get them gently used to “standing” with lots of praise, love and food from a very young age, so we took some photos. We had varying levels of success (and failure), as you can see. But everyone learned something and had fun, so overall it was a success. Hopefully you will enjoy some of the pics, and we’ll keep practicing/playing with the pups.
