ISWS
International Silken Windhound Society
ISWS is the Silken Windhound parent club. The website provides lots of information about the breed, including past and upcoming events, our breed standard, pedigree database, code of ethics, information about conformation shows, racing and coursing, health and other info about Silken Windhounds.
ASFA
American Sighthound Field Association
ASFA was the first national all-breed performance organization to allow Silken Windhounds to compete. ASFA currently provides the primary lure coursing venue for Silken Windhounds, as well as providing a venue for lure coursing for other sighthounds and a new program for all other breeds.
CCASH
Central Coast Association of Sighthounds
This is our local all-breed performance club, hosting a number of events throughout the year. Events hosted by CCASH currently include ASFA lure coursing trials, LGRA sprint racing for sighthounds other than whippets, IWRO whippet sprint racing for whippets and AOK9 sprint racing for all other breeds.

Silken Windhounds of California
The Silken Windhound western regional club, providing lots more information about our breed, including past and upcoming events in California, the history of Silken Windhounds in the area and the impact these Silkens have had on the national and worldwide community, tons of photos, regional breeders and more.
UKC
United Kennel Club
The Silken Windhound was recognized by the UKC in 2011. UKC currently provides the primary conformation venue for Silken Windhounds, as well as other events such as rally, agility, nosework and lure coursing. Most Silken Windhounds are dual registered in both the ISWS and the UKC.
LGRA
Large Gazehound Racing Association
LGRA is the national sprint racing organization for all sighthounds except whippets, who have their own sprint racing organizations. Silken Windhounds generally excel at sprint racing, where their speed is tested on a straight course agaist competition.
